Victor Point Elementary School - Silver Falls School District

Our 41st annual Chili Feed was, once again, a huge success.  We raised $7827.00 from ticket sales and made $299.00 on the cake walk.  Thank you to our many great sponsors and volunteers who contributed to make this event so profitable for our school.

Here are some more interesting facts from the Chili Feed:  

Top Seller - Hannah Zurbrugg who earned the privilege of being Principal for the morning of March 31st.

Other top sellers:  Ciara Annen, Daniel Bennett, Dallas Bennett.  These students, along with Hannah, will be treated out to lunch with Principal Mrs. Myers.

Classes with the most sales: Mrs. Morman's and Mrs. Myers' - these classes earned a pizza party.

Total sales were enough to earn the entire student body an ice cream party and also to have our three curly haired staff members straighten and streak their hair.

In the event bad weather disrupts school bus traffic in the mornings, one of four messages will be released to the media listed below in time for broadcasts beginning at 6:00 AM.  Additionally, the superintendent or school principal will make an automated telephone call.

1.  School Closed.

2.  One or two hour delay.  All buses will run regular routes either one or two hours late.  NO kindergarten.

3.  Snow routes only - NO delay.  Buses will run as close to the AM schedule as possible.  Victor Point's buses will also remain on snow routes in the PM. 

No sevice on the following roads:  Carter, Jasper, Silver Falls past Drift Creek, and upper end of Waldo Hills and Edmunson.

Victor Point's Parent Teacher Community (PTCC) meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 pm in the school library.  Everyone is welcome and urged to attend.  Child care for non-school age children in provided by the upper grade students.
